Dr. Raymon Grewal received his Bachelor of Science degree in Anatomy and Histology from McGill University. In 2001, he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Ivy League institution of Columbia University in New York City. He later went on to pursue his additional four yearsof trainingin Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Hospital of Saint Raphael/Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. After the completion of hisresidency in July of 2005, Dr. Grewal joined a well respected oral and maxillofacial surgery group in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
After practicing for four years in the United States, he made the decision to return to Vancouver where he was born and raised. He is a board certified specialist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. In addition, he is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of British Columbia Dental School and is an attending surgeon at BC Children’s Hospital and Lion’s Gate Hospital. Dr. Grewal currently serves on the Board of Directors of the BC Dental Association and on the Executive Committee of the Dental Specialists Society of BC.
Dr. Grewal practices the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with special interest in dentoalveolar procedures, anesthesia, implants, bone grafting, oral pathology, maxillofacial reconstruction, and trauma. Outside of practice, he enjoys traveling, playing basketball, and spending time with his family and friends.
